Sophie Mariage is born in Italian artisan workshops. Three steps, expert hands, slow time. This is how the wedding favor that lasts forever comes to life.

Clay comes to life.
It all starts with a block of clay. Our artisan shapes the piece with the circular motion of the historic potter's wheel. Pumi, potiches, vases: every shape is born here, in a gesture passed down through generations in our workshops.

Unique brushstrokes, no two pieces are ever identical.
After the first firing, the piece is painted. Fine brushes, hand-mixed colours, traditional motifs reinterpreted in a contemporary style. For personalised wedding favours, the names of the bride and groom, the date and chosen dedications are painted here.

The fire sets the color forever.
The oven, at over 1,000°C, completes the process: the clay becomes resistant ceramic, the colors are permanently fixed. A second, more delicate firing adds the glossy or matte finish. A memory that lasts forever.
